want to take a minute to thank my CATS group and everyone
who helps with the raffles and fund-raisers for the Max
Fund. Your generosity is helping the fund grow much faster
than we had even hoped for! Thank you all for your continued

APRIL is a great month to try your hand at something NEW!
This month we will focus on lots of new ideas to share with
you. TO help you get started we are offering a special
pricing on our popular Glass Pro kilns. Stop in or
give me a call and I will share all the details with you!
Saturday April 3 1-3pm.KIDS
ONLY celebrate Spring ! We will be creating some cute yard
decorations. Please pre register so we can have enough for
everyone. Cost is $14
Friday April 9 The studio is booked for a special
private glass class session
Get your group together and come play with us. Call
Sally for details and to reserve your date!
Monday April 12 I need a SPAAAAAH Free hand massages
in the day and evening sessions!
Wednesday April 14 Home school class session 1-3pm.
We will be doing wheel thrown pottery. Call to reserve your
pot. Space is limited. Cost is $8 completed project.
Thursday April 15 CATS meeting at 5:15 with pitch in
picnic food. We will work on finalizing details for CATS
event in June. Join us and then stay for Lisa’s glass
class
Thursday April 15. Get your taxes mailed then
celebrate with a glass class with Lisa starting at 6:15pm.
We will be creating a new channeled glass with a simplified
wire wrap technique to complete the piece. Come see the
samples. Cost is 3 for $30. Please pre register to reserve
your spot!
Saturday April 17 It’s Decal Day. We will offer
great pricing today on china blanks and decals. This popular
decorating technique can create a master piece that is so
simple even children can do it!
Monday April 19 Clay Day! We will focus on clay coil
work. Come and get a little muddy with us. You will LOVE it!
This will be offered day and evening sessions and price will
vary by project.
Tuesday April 20 Because it is soooo much fun we will
repeat the session offered on the 19th. Check out
the details above.
Wednesday April 21 Lunch Bunch it’s Annie Egg Day.
We will be sharing our favorite Egg recipes and you can get
fresh country eggs here !! Join us for Creamed eggs at noon!
Wednesday April 21. Lisa and Sally will be teaching
Frit Trees in Glass at the Brownsburg Library. Check their
website or at the Library for registration and details.

Saturday April 24
10 am –4 pm. Join us for ARTS_GO! A FUN FILLED day
of Demonstration and surprises!
Fused glass Artist Lisa Steuerwald. will be here to
demonstrate some fused glass firing techniques We will be
doing a horsehair and snakeskin
and feather firing at 1 pm outdoors weather
permitting. .
Sign up for special door prizes sponsored by the Hendricks

Monday and Tuesday April 26-27 We will focus on Hand
crafted Graduation gifts. One of a kind gifts that are so
special!
Wednesday April 28 Join Sally invites you to come and
make a fused glass decorated purse hook. Class is 1-3pm and
these make great Mothers Day gifts!!! Cost is $15 and please
register to reserve your spot!
Thursday April 29 We are on the road to teach a
special Mothers Day class for Day care! Call and schedule a
time for us to visit your group as well!
Saturday May 1 Kids Only Mothers Day class 1-3pm. We
will be creating 2 unique projects for only $12. Please call
to reserve your spot!
Monday May 3 at 7pm.
Beading for Mom. Come make a beautiful 23rd

Tuesday May 4 at 7pm Decal Projects for Mothers day

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us by creating a special
“cool dip” jar and get a free collection of dip recipes.
Cost is $15 and pre registration is recommended.
Thursday May 5 6pm Join Lisa for Mom and Me glass
class. We encourage you to bring your mom or daughter or
even a good friend and create pieces for each other! Cost is
$10 per project and we suggest you pre register to reserve
your spot!
Saturday May 8 10-3 Drop in today and make or
purchase our unique “diamond” ring!! For only $2 or your
contribution to the Max Fund!!l

Sunday May 16 1-4pm Join us for Dinner and a Craft to
benefit the Max Fund We
will be making Salad Serving Bowl and sharing some great
salads and recipes. Cost is $30 and pre registration is

Wednesday May 19 Lunch Bunch gets steamed up! Join us
for a fun lunch from the steamer. Eating at noon and get
kitchen serving pieces at a discount today!
Saturday May 22 Weather permitting We will be doing
horsehair, snakeskin, and feather firing at 1pm. Come join
the fun! Cost will vary by project.
Monday and Tuesday May 24-25 Its Yard Art Celebration
Join us as we share some unique decorating ideas for you
yard and garden. Cost varies by project and no
pre-registration is required.
Wednesday May 26 1-3pm. Glass Class will feature
cathedral and clear dichro. Make some beautiful colors for
your summer accessorizing! 3 Cabs for $30.
Saturday May 29 It’s Decal Day. Drop by for
specials on China Blanks and Decals! Great for fast and
beautiful gifts!
Monday May 31 Studio will be OPEN today for day and
evening classes! It’s a great chance to work on those 4H
projects!!!!
JUNE…Let the 4 H rush begin! Don’t wait to the
last minute..Get started on your project as early as
possible!!! Good luck at the fair to all that participate!

Thursday June 16 CATS
meeting at 5:30. I will grill out so bring a go with
dish. Please try to have your basket raffles ready and we
will finalize the plans for CATS event!
Thursday June 17th Join Lisa after the
CATS meeting {6:15 ish}
for a red, white and blue glass class focusing on
creating jewelry with a patriotic flair. Class starts at
6pm. And we suggest you pre register. Cost is $10-$30 by
project. Come see our samples!
Saturday June 19th It’s our Last Workshop Class
session on Saturday till September 25th. We are
celebrating with a buy it fire it free day! Any greenware
purchase today will receive one free firing!
Friday and Saturday JUNE 25-26 7 C.A.T.S. presents “Triskaidekamania”
It’s our 13th
year and Triskaidekaphobiaa is
the fear of the number 13, but we wanted to celebrate so we
are packing Two Fun-filled days with lucky deals you won’t
want to miss. Come and visit all your favorite CATS artist
friends and help us welcome some new ones!! We will be
cramming so much into this event you will need to see the
separate page on the web site for the info or give me a
call! Some planned high-lights this year include…My 60th
Birthday Party for MAX Fund Carnival! Friday
5:30-8:30!! Lots of classes, raffles, food and FUN. Just mark your dates
and plan to join us!!
Friday July 2 We want to continue the
CATS event with a prowl to the Exotic Feline Rescue
Center. We will be leaving the studio at 8am and returning
around 3pm. Cost is $13 per person and we will be sharing a
picnic lunch! You must pre register
