3. C.A.T.S. Creative Arts Teaching Seminars. This program is close to my heart. It began as me and a few friends trying to pull together a weekend event focused on some requests of “where do I find out how to do this.” That was about 5 years ago and I wasn’t sure that first year if I would still have friends when it was all over with.. But not only do I still have friends.. I have more than I started with! We try to work2 or 3 programs a year now. Sometimes it includes a full educational seminar and sometimes it’s just a C.A.T.S. on the prowl field trip to a glass manufacturer or craft fair. I have great memories of things we have done and I am sure there will be more to share with you. C.A.T.S. pays their own way now. Each event includes a small contribution to go into our “cat fund”. I will try to share more with you about C.A.T.S. as I can but wanted you to know what it was when I talk about it. It’s just me and my friends! >^..^<
